I have taught Advanced Composition, Technical Communications, and Prep Writing at SFC. Have also taught Property Law in the Business (Paralegal Certificate) Program at SFC. Legal experience includes criminal appellate work and immigration law. (Note: Not a licensed attorney.) I've directed plays, taught drama, and done vocal coaching. Investigative reporter and legal commentator (2000-8) for TruthOut.org, Rawstory.com, FindLaw, TomPaine.com, Counterpunch, etc. Published author (not self-published - published by established publishing houses). Taught "Act to Write," a course I developed and later turned into a book, for ten years in the Writing Program at the New School University, NYC (1993-2003). Also taught an Anti-Terrorism Law course in the Social Science Dept. at the New School U. (2003).

Hobbies
I used to write and sing my own songs. Have two CD's of my music. I love all kinds of music. I love movies and have studied screenwriting. Am working with a script consultant on a screenplay now. I love animals and have 9 pets (4 cats & 5 ferrets). I did ferret rescue for awhile.
