Private tutor in Gainesville, FL

Education

I am pursuing a PhD in electrical engineering at University of Florida. This is my second semester at UF (as of Spring 2017) and my current GPA is 3.72. I am working as a graduate research assistant in the field of semiconductor device. I am expecting to graduate in the Fall of 2020.

Experience

I worked as a private tutor during Fall 2013 and Spring 2014 semester. During the two semesters, I helped undergraduate students in courses related to Solid State Electronics and Device Physics. As a graduate assistant, I have supervised lab classes, worked as a teaching assistant to facilitate professors in grading homeworks and exams. I recently gave the GRE and performed well. I'd be happy to share my experience, knowledge, problem solving strategies and the moment of taking the test.

Hobbies

I like maths and science. I developed a natural keenness for Electromagnetism since my secondary school years. I was quite bemused to see the new Sony TV with a remote control that changed channels from distance. It was very strange, and I was deeply fascinated. I like to think of concepts and understand the basics. I enjoy studying engineering that way. I like to interact with people and discuss ideas. Science is easy and fun if we can relate it to the things we do in daily life. Apart from the technical stuff, I like music and sports. I like to play guitar (mostly in the evening) to take the research work off my head.
