I am currently a PhD candidate in the Biostatistics department at UF. My research involves the development of statistical methods for inferring gene-gene interactions from gene expression data.
Experience
I have TA'd for introductory statistics courses, which included hosting review session with groups of students as well as holding office hours for one-on-one tutoring. I was also the instructor for a Business Calculus course. My goal as a tutor is to help students gain confidence in themselves and develop a deeper understanding of the material.

Hobbies
Whenever I can, I like to spend my free time with friends and family. My main hobbies are eating and taking naps (usually in that order), although I also enjoy playing piano and drums, working out (especially Olympic weightlifting), watching Netflix (I should say binge watching), and cooking (typically prior to eating).
