Brad D.
Private tutor in Gainesville, FL
Education
Texas A&M graduate with a GPA of 3.24. Majored in nuclear engineering with a minor in mathematics.
Experience
AP Scholor with Honor, 2020 on the SAT. I'm trying to switch careers from engineer to teacher. I was a high school math teacher for one year. Now I am studying elementary education because I want to give younger children good foundations and foster good attitudes toward learning. In college I tutored a few friends in math and physics. One of them went from a strong C/ weak B to a solid A in calculus based physics (electricity and magnetism). I've tutored a few high school students in geometry. They went from borderline failing to B's and they needed my help less and less as the year went on. One SAT Math student I tutored had a 100 point increase on the test. And I helped a radiological health science student with her advanced electromagnetism course (PDE's) and a digital visualization student with her C++ course.
