Hello! I enjoy working with all types of learners. I have tutored a range of students, from upper undergraduate students struggling with organic chemistry to high school students in their first biology course. My tutoring experiences are broad. I worked as a biochemistry tutor at the University of Florida tutoring biochemistry. Also, I have been a teaching assistant for a ecology course in Kenya at the University of Florida. Through University Tutor, I have tutored a variety of college and high school students in their coursework. Often times, students have a difficult time adjusting to the large lecture hall classes at UF. I assist with this transition by providing personalized tutoring to directly match your learning needs. I am always learning and discovering new ways to improve your tutoring experience. Relevant Coursework: General biology (I and II), General chemistry (I and II), Biochemistry, Genetics, Ecology, Animal Behavior, Psychology, Social Psychology, General Anthropology As an undergraduate student at UF, I was active in scientific research labs and I have won multiple awards including a Science for Life-HHMI Extramural Award and a Goldwater Honorable Mention. Currently, I work as a youth program coordinator at the University of Florida to bring scientific research findings to high school students.

I love hiking, reading, and traveling. I grew up in Jacksonville, Fl with my parents and two brothers and I attended the University of Florida. During undergraduate, I spent 5 months studying ant-plant mutualisms in Kenya. My favorite courses at UF were biochemistry, general ecology, and history of Pompeii.
