1 year substitute at Cornerstone Academy (private school in Gainesville) SAT score 1740 overall I love teaching, because I desire to see young people not only learn, but learn how to learn. I want students to be excited about what they are learning, and I understand that anyone that is struggling in a subject is not incapable of learning, but may have one of three learning blocks: 1. They have been left behind at one point and were never given a chance to catch up. 2. They may find the subject inapplicable and therefore unnecessary 3. The learning style of the student and the teaching style of the instructor are incompatible; the student needs to be taught a different way.
