I am passionate about sharing what I have learned and what I continue to learn every day. I have been a teacher for more than ten years. It makes me happy knowing my tutelage has helped my students grow to appreciate Biology and become successful learners. Biology is a great example of taking a genuine interest of all the details of daily life. Having a thorough appreciation of the inner workings of our bodies in a changing environment is one way to uncover this mystery. Biology has been a fascination since I was child living on the African island of Madagascar. I have greatly enjoyed studying animals, various types of flora, and different groups of people, which led me to earn a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Illinois and become the Director of a Zoo and Botanical Garden. Currently, I live in Gainesville, Florida. I tutor Biology and related Sciences, including Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Zoology, and Life Sciences.In my free time, I enjoy travel, photography, and playing board games.
