I love helping people and helping them learn and understand new things! I have worked with peers as I tutored them throughout high school. I am currently a freshman at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Forest Resources and Conservation. I tutor math subjects from Pre-Algebra up to Algebra 2, as well as Psychology, Environmental Science, and Public Speaking. My favorite subject to tutor is math because it is extremely important for many careers and although it can be tough to understand the subject, it's so rewarding when you finally master it. I'm here to help any students master math and any other subjects they need help in! My tutoring style is extremely focused on the student learning to do the work themselves and to be able to retain the subject material as well! I start off walking through a problem with a student and asking them to answer a few questions along the way, then once they understand, I'll have them try problems on their own until they no longer need my help solving it. I'll help the student retain the information by bringing up a few past problems in new sessions. I will use previous concepts in their warm-up exercises just to make sure that they retained what they've learned so far and are ready to tackle the next problem!
