Education

In 2012, I graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters in civil engineering with a 3.83 GPA. I also received my bachelors degree in civil engineering, and I graduated cum laude. Currently, I am working toward a doctorate in physical therapy where I hope to use my analytical and personal skills to help people recover from injury and lead active, healthy lives.

Experience

I am a licensed professional engineer with 3.5 years of industry experience. I hope to use my academic and professional experience to help students reach their potential. I have taken the full civil engineering curriculum at the University of Florida, which includes many math and science classes. As an engineer, I specialized in water resources, but I have also done extensive coursework in geotechnical, construction, transportation and public works engineering. In addition to my engineering experience, I have spent time coaching and teaching children, teenagers and adults of varying backgrounds. Also, I have received stellar grades in anatomy, physiology, psychology and biology.

Hobbies

I love everything that has to do with science, the outdoors, and athletics. In my free time, I often listen to podcasts about astrophysics. Albert Einstein is one of my personal heroes. On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with friends, movies, music, sports and running. My favorite sports are basketball and football, and currently, I am training for my first marathon, and I also hope to break 4:30 in the mile this year.
